kydear Robinson,
I have not hitherto found time to thank you for the very handsome reference which you made to the Newfoundland Contingent about a week ago.
It was
very good of you to have it done.
I now have to trouble you in another matter. In the Times" of the 23rd October, under the beading Trading with the Enemy" you published a letter from Lesers. Sigmund Goldschmiedt of Reichenberg, Bohemia.
The letter apparently suggested a roundabout method of
conducting trade between that fim and Hong Kong.
fe are naturally anxious to pursue the matter, if it is
possible to do so. Could you in the public interest
give me any further information which the "Times" may
have with regard to this matter?
Yours sincerely,
7.9.a. Butler.
